About The Organized Parent

The Organized Parent? We know what you’re thinking. We’ve heard it before. "No such thing." "Oxymoron."

Luckily we have thick skin (and this page), so we explain: Who is The Organized Parent? She’s you. Really, she is. She’s you on a good day. A day where the kids get off to school with full tummies, clean clothes, and packed backpacks. Your tank is full of gas and there’s an extra $5 in your wallet for a latte. Dinner is in the crockpot. And your husband greets you with a kiss. Baths and bedtime stories. Lights out. Sigh.... Life is good.

We realize that not all days are like this. But you have some (or maybe some half days!) We’re here to help you have more with products and ideas that help streamline and simplify motherhood one task at a time.

The idea for The Organized Parent actually came from a peanut butter sandwich. In 2003, company founder Stephanie Vozza had an extraordinarily disorganized week culminating in a second trip to her second grader's school to drop off the sack lunch he needed to bring on a field trip. Sitting in the car watching the bus pull away, she wondered: Why could I easily juggle a dozen projects with a dozen clients and a dozen deadlines before I had children, but now that life was "simpler," I couldn't remember to pack a brown bag lunch?

Stephanie admits that she still has days when things slip through the cracks. Being organized is choice you make each day. But sometimes it takes a bad day to remind you why taking the time to be prepared is so important. (And bad days are much more fun to talk about with friends over a nice glass of red wine!)
